These placeholder terms describe the basis on which Brick & Story supplies personalised model designs, digital books and gift boxes.

Your model image

The model image shown before checkout is an artist's impression. Our design team builds the real brick design from your photo, and you approve it before we make it. Home kits are a display scene of your home's front, not a full building with rooms or all four sides.

Love your design, or we'll redesign it once or refund you in full.

Personalised goods

After payment, we prepare your design for approval before ordering parts. You may approve it or request one redesign. If you do not love the redesign, we refund you in full before anything is made. Once you approve your design, the personalised kit is made for you and the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply. This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, missing, not as approved or otherwise below the required quality.

Quality and replacements

Every kit is designed from your photo and checked before it's packed. If a part isn't available, we'll use the closest match. If anything arrives that isn't right, contact us and we'll send replacement parts or refund you.

Subscriptions

The "Grow your home" subscription costs £29.99 a month including VAT and UK delivery and renews monthly until cancelled. A single box costs £34.99, so subscribers save £5 on every box. A new subscription bought with a house kit gives 10% off that house kit, and the first monthly payment is due one month after the house order.

The sixth subscription kit is free and is not charged for. Subscribers can request a birthday gift by sharing only the day and month through their private link; requests require owner approval and are limited to one approved gift per account each calendar year.

We email you a reminder 3 days before every monthly payment. You can pause, skip next month or cancel at any time using the private "Manage subscription" link in every subscription email — no account needed. Changes made before a payment date apply to that payment.

Boxes you have already paid for will still be made and sent, even if you pause or cancel afterwards.
